Las Vegas Travel the adventure begins

Las Vegas is a great place to spend a few days. Whether you are looking for a romantic weekend, a bachelor/bachelorette party, to make a truckload of money at a casino, catch a world-class show, eat at a 5-star restaurant, watch the big game, or just relax by a big pool, Vegas is the place for you.  Throughout this series, I’ll be profiling the many ways to have a great time in Sin City.

One thing that is assured; you’ll never run out of fun things to do when you are in Las Vegas. There is almost a countless amount of ways to have a great trip to Las Vegas, but beware; there are also a few ways to leave Sin City with empty pockets, regrets, or broken dreams.

The first thing you will want to plan is where you want to stay. Most people have heard of the “strip,” an almost never ending conglomerate of bright lit mega hotels. There are a lot of great places to stay on the strip whether you are looking for a cheap room or if you are looking to be pampered with luxury.

If you are driving, don’t hesitate to stay off the strip. There are many great hotels within one to two miles of the strip that cost just a fraction of a strip hotel. Every hotel on the strip has a lot of free parking, which can allow you to go enjoy the madness of the strip and then drive back to your hotel. Many people enjoy staying off the strip because it’s less expensive and quieter.  Also, most off-the-strip hotels have free shuttles that take you to and from the strip for free. This is a great option if you are planning on getting a little tipsy while enjoying the strip.

The best suggestion to finding a good hotel is to check out any reputable travel site. Besides being able to compare rates, you will also see a lot of reviews left by people who have stayed at these hotels. You will quickly see which resorts have satisfied customers and which places have issues that make their customers upset.
